Sensex rises over 100pts, Nifty hits 8350; Coal India gains
The market opened on flat note but has quickly gained even though Greek crisis continues to drag global equities. The Sensex is up 66.98 points at 27712.13 and the Nifty is up 22.50 points at 8340.90. About 575 shares have advanced, 185 shares declined, and 58 shares are unchanged. Coal India, HUL, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto and Vedanta are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are NTPC, Dr Reddy's Labs, TCS and Tata Motors. The Indian rupee opened higher by 8 paise at 63.76 per dollar on Tuesday against previous closing of 63.84. The dollar slips, while the euro climbs back above 1.12 to the dollar.

The Indian rupee declined in the early trade. It has opened lower by 20 paise at 63.84 per dollar versus Friday's closing of 63.64.

Sensex plunges over 500 pts, Nifty below 8250 on Greek woes
Amid Greek uncertainty, the market has opened with some sever losses. The Sensex is at 27293.25, down 518.59 points or 1.86 percent. The Nifty is down 153.25 points or 1.83% at 8227.85.
 About 136 shares have advanced, 862 shares declined, and 69 shares are unchanged. Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, SBI, Axis Bank and Hindalco are major laggards in the Sensex with no stock in green at the moment.

Sensex slips over 150 pts, Nifty struggles; Infosys up 1%
The market has opened flat on a fresh start of July F&O series today. The Sensex is up 0.03 points at 27896.00, and the Nifty is down 4.05 points at 8393.95. About 245 shares have advanced, 188 shares declined, and 65 shares are unchanged.
Nifty's recent move is exuding a lot of optimism. Resistance for the 50-share index is seen at 8500. In the June series, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought Rs 280 crore while domestic investors sold Rs 8.5 crore in cash market.

Dragged by Greek debt woes the market has opened lower on June F&O expiry day. The Sensex is down 90.20 points or 0.3 percent at 27639.47 and the Nifty is down 24.60 points or 0.3 percent at 8336.25. About 226 shares have advanced, 223 shares declined, and 75 shares are unchanged.
Infosys, Tata Motors, Hindalco, Lupin and Bharti Airtel are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are M&M, HUL, ITC, Cipla and HDFC.

Sensex inches towards 28000; FMCG, oil, pharma support
The market gained further amid consolidation. The Sensex rose 87.06 points to 27891.43 and the Nifty advanced 22.40 points to 8403.95, led by FMCG, pharma, oil and select private banks. The broader markets advanced too, the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rose 0.3-0.5 percent. Nearly two shares advanced for every share declining on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Hindustan Unilever climbed nearly 2 percent as media report suggested that the FMCG major may buy Kerala-based ayurvedic hair and skin care brand Indulekha for Rs 500 crore.
