Market Opening
- The benchmark BSE Sensex on Thursday snapped its 3-day losing streak and recovered from over one-year low by gaining 311.22 points to 25,764.78 on value-buying in recently beaten-down stocks amid rebound in global markets.
- The market moved further up north this afternoon, with the bulls turning quite aggressive and lapping up stocks across the board with renewed vigour.
- The Sensex, which rose to 25,825.79, is currently up 315 points or 1.25% at 25,768.56. The Nifty is up 108.80 points or 1.4% at 7825.80, after hitting a high of 7839.70.
- Indian markets ended on bullish note. Nifty and Sensex up by 1.37% and 1.22%.
- Asia Pacific mkt. mixed. Nikkei and KOSPI up by 0.48% and 0.02% respectively.
- Wall St. Flat.USD ISM Manufacturing PMI down to 52.7.Dow fut. up by 192 pts.
- Indian broad indices showed upward movement and closed on positive note. On sectorial front PSU Bank, PSE and Metal were up while pharma sector was down by 0.18%. Sensex was rebound by 311 points at 25764 & Nifty rose by 106 points to settle at 7833 level. European markets traded upside.
